John W. Sylvester Jr. of Houston is senior vice president and chief administrative officer of Linbeck Construction Corporation. He is a member of the Construction Personnel Executives Group and the Associated General Contractors, where he serves on the committees for collective bargaining, labor policy and human resources/employee relations. Sylvester volunteers at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. He received a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and a master’s degree from Stanford University.
