Carolyn H. Johnson of Freeport is an environmental consultant with Dow Chemical. She serves as a permits committee member for the American Chemistry Council and is a member of the Quality Water for the Brazos Community Watershed Task Force. Johnson is a vice chairman of the Texas Chemical Water and Waste Management Committee. She also is a member of the Texas Water Conservation Association, the Water Environment Federation and the Brazosport Community College Foundation. Johnson serves on the board of regents of Brazosport Community College and is vice president of Employment for the Physically Disabled. She received a bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in Beaumont. Reappointed 4-17-2011.
