Robert M. Christian of Jewett is a retired professional engineer and retired U.S. Army colonel. He is a member of the Texas Water Conservation Association and National Organization of Victims Relief Association, and chaplain for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. He is also a volunteer with the Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief Ministry, and a past member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors and the Professional Land Surveyors Association. Christian received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in management from the Florida Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Management College. Reappointed 4-17-2011.
