Juanita Gonzalez of Round Rock was appointed to the Board of Pardons and Paroles in 1997. Ms.Gonzalez has 23 years experience in the Texas criminal justice system. She is a member of the Texas Corrections Association and the Association of Paroling Authorities International. She also volunteers as an interpreter for the Austin Diocese Medical Missionary Team. Gonzalez received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University. Reappointed 2-12-09.
