Personal Information

Maxie Patterson of Spring is executive director of the Texas Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems. He is an advisor to the Committee on Retirement and Benefits Administration of the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada, a senior fellow with the American Leadership Forum, and a volunteer manager for the American Red Cross Disaster Assistance. He is also a member of the St. Vincent’s House and COTS Homeless Mission boards of directors. Patterson served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in public administration from Michigan State University.
