Dr. William Edmiston Jr. of Eldorado is a rancher and veterinarian, and owner of Eldorado Animal Clinic. He is being reappointed to the board. Edmiston is president of the Texas Scrapie Certification Board. He is a member of Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and past president of the Sheep and Goat Predator Management Board. He was named Outstanding Conservationist of 1999 by the Eldorado Soil and Water Conservationist District. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University and a doctorate of veterinary medicine at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.
