Richard Gibbs of Mesquite is a licensed vocational nurse at the Woman’s Hospital at Dallas Regional Medical Center and is being reappointed to the board. He has previously served as vice-president of the board and represents Texas on the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. He is also active in the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses. Gibbs received a nursing degree from Tyler Junior College.
