Personal Information

Bernal has been an attorney in private practice in Houston since 1995. He is an associate attorney with King & Spalding’s business litigation section, with an emphasis on commercial litigation in business torts, contractual disputes, licensing and trade secrets. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association.

Bernal earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science summa cum laude from the University of Houston and his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was associate editor of the Houston Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.
