Personal Information

Bruun most recently served as government and customer relations manager for the Brazos River Authority. Prior to that, he was chief of staff to State Rep. Todd Hunter, and general counsel to the House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence. He previously served as executive director of Texas Victory 2008, a project of the Republican Party of Texas. Prior to that, he worked for Gov. Perry as an appointments manager. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Bruun received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
