Personal Information

December 8, 2013, Judge Meyers switched political parties and will now represent the Democratic Party.

Judge Meyers' education includes his High School diploma from Nolan High School in Fort Worth in 1966. He earned his B.A. in History and Chemistry from Southern Methodist University in 1970, and a J.D. from the University of Kansas in 1973. He is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Judge Meyers has also taken a post-degree program from the University of Texas at Arlington and Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. Judge Meyers has been an instructor and teacher at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
