Fred E. Davis of Austin is an attorney and former assistant attorney general of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Austin Bar Association and Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He is also a board member of Austin Smiles, and a volunteer with Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas. Davis served in the U.S. Navy as a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps. He received a bachelor's degree and a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
