He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and a board member and chair of the Dallas Regional Chamber of Young Professionals. Meister received a bachelor's degree from Saint Louis University, and a Master of Business Administration and law degree from Vanderbilt University.
