Personal Information

Wood is the retired president of Collins Financial Services. He is past president of DBA International, past chief economist of a U.S. Senate committee, and past board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Wood served in the U.S. Air Force and received a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, a master’s degree in economics from the University of Florida, and a doctorate degree in banking and finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is being reappointed (3-30-2009) to the authority and will serve as chair.
