Richard Beard of Mesquite is a registered nurse, a certified medical surgical nurse, and a vocational nursing instructor at Concorde Career Institute. He is a member of the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses, where he serves on thelegislative committee. He is also a past advocate for the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses.
