Personal Information

Davis worked as an attorney for the legal division of the Texas Legislative Council and then for the Senate Jurisprudence Committee. She later was director/counsel to the Texas Judicial Council under the direction of then-Chief Justice Tom Phillips and the Texas Supreme Court. She also served as general counsel for two lieutenant governors. She has also been in a private law practice. Davis earned her bachelor's degree and her law degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
