Personal Information

Shannon is the chief of economic crimes and computer crime unit in the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, and an adjunct professor of law at Texas Wesleyan University. He is chair of the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors and president of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation. He was also the 2006 recipient of the Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Award presented by the Texas Wesleyan School of Law. Shannon received a bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
