Personal Information

Balido is a Dallas County assistant public defender and former Dallas County assistant district attorney. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and Greater Dallas Crime Commission, and is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. She is a member and past vice-chair of the Dallas Bar Association Criminal Law Section, member and past secretary of the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and a detective school instructor for the Dallas Police Academy. She is also a past member of the Junior League of Dallas, Dallas Habitat for Humanity and Dallas Interfaith Housing Coalition Board of Directors. Balido received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
