Before becoming the Director of the Office of Capital Writs, Brad Levenson was a Deputy Federal Public Defender in the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Public Defender's Los Angeles Office. Prior to his work at the Federal Public Defender, Mr. Levenson was a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California in the Appeals, Writs, and Trials unit. Mr. Levenson graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, and received his undergraduate degree from New York University.
