Leslie Thomas is a native of Oak Cliff, Dallas. She enlisted in the Navy after graduating high school and spent her 20’s either in the Navy or in school. Upon graduating law school she married Keith Thomas. They have 5 children whom they homeschool; the oldest is in college. She is actively involved in her community by teaching the U.S. Constitution to adults and in elementary schools, practicing pro bono law, directing the Enrichment Days Co-op and BEST Robotics team, co-founding and co-directing the Christian Homeschool Alliance of Texas, and being an active member of her church, Pilgrim Baptist Church.
