Sandra Linson-Bell was elected to Place 6 of the Greenville City Council in May, 2012.
Linson-Bell was born in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She also received an Associate Degree from Paris Junior College.
Beginning her career in law enforcement in 1992 as a Detention Officer, Linson-Bell is currently an Investigator in the Hunt County District Attorney’s Office. She previously served as a patrol deputy for the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office and also served in the United States Army Reserve for 10 years as a chaplain assistant.
Linson-Bell has four sons, Byron, who plays football for the Carolina Panthers; Seth, a senior at UNT; and twins Elijah, a student at Greenville Middle School and Isaiah who passed away in 2007. She is a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and in her spare time enjoys reading, photography, scrapbooking, spending time with family and friends and watching football and basketball.
