Monty Johnson III of Amarillo is a rancher. He is a member of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, American Angus Association, and Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He is also a past board member and past president of the West Texas Cutting Horse Association, past vice president and past executive committee member of the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA), past board member and past managing director of the NCHA World Finals Committee, and past board member of the Maverick Boys and Girls Club of Amarillo. Johnson received a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma.
