Personal Information

Edward E. Yosowitz, M.D., is one of two founding members of the Women's Specialists of Houston. He was born and raised in Vincennes, Indiana. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Indiana University. He completed his training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in 1971. Yosowitz served as a major in the Air Force from 1971 to 1977.

He currently holds the position of clinical associate professor at Baylor College of Medicine, and is a member of numerous professional organizations. He has been a board-certified fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology for more than 35 years, practicing at several hospitals in the Texas Medical Center.
