Personal Information

Ms. Gentry was appointed City Clerk by the Mayor and City Council in January, 1999. Prior to this appointment, she served as Director of Administrative Services in Sioux City, Iowa. Ms. Gentry oversees the weekly Council meetings and municipal elections, manages the staff of the Office of the City Clerk, and serves as the Records Management Officer for the City of Austin.

PERSONAL
Ms. Gentry is a native Iowan who moved to Texas in 1999. She has two sons--Chris, who lives in Austin, and Sean, who continues to live in Sioux City. She is an avid quilter and bicyclist.
