Larry Jeffus of Garland is a textbook author for Prentice Hall and Delmar publishing companies, a Texas licensed air conditioning and refrigeration contractor, and an educational consultant. He is a member of the American Welding Society, the Council of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Educators, technical committee member of the North American Technical Excellence, Texas Technical Society and a board member for the Learning Center of North Texas. Jeffus also volunteers for St. Phillip’s United Methodist Church and Habitat for Humanity. He received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Tennessee. Reappointed 12-2009.
