Personal Information

Trotter is an attorney and partner with Shafer, Davis, Ashley, O’Leary & Stoker, where he has practiced law for the past 20 years. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Ector County Bar Association, the Fifth Circuit Bar Association and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. Trotter is district director of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and serves as an advocate of the American Board of Trail Advocates. He has previously served on the board of United Way of Odessa and the Ector County Independent School District Educational Foundation.

A cum laude graduate of Texas Tech University, Trotter also received a law degree from Texas Tech University.
