Louis Bronaugh of Lufkin is a retired optician. He is a board member of Pineywoods Resource Conservation and Development and Goodwill Industries of Lufkin, board chairman of the Brazos Transit District, and a board member and past president of the Deep East Texas Council of Governments. He is also past president of Certified Opticians of Texas, past chairman of the Texas Board of Health Advisory Council, past executive committee member of Tyler Junior College School of Opticianry, and a past fellow of the National Academy of Opticians. Bronaugh served in the U.S. Navy. He attended Texas Tech University and the University of Houston. Reappointed 4/2012.
