Personal Information

Matthew Maxfield of Brownwood is chief executive officer of the Brownwood Regional Medical Center. He is a fellow and past president of the Central Texas American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Texas Hospital Association Executive Committee, Brownwood Preservation Partnership Board of Directors, Brownwood Chamber Economic Committee, and Brown County Workforce Solutions. He is also a past assistant professor at the Texas A&M University School of Rural and Public Health, past president of the Texas Rural Health Association, and a past board member of the Brazos Area Health Education Center. Maxfield is a graduate of Leadership Temple and a past board member of the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce. He received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Dallas.
