Laura Ryan of Cypress is vice president of market representation and dealer development for Gulf States Toyota, Inc., with over 25 years of diverse automotive industry experience. She is a former gubernatorial appointee and chair of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Board. She volunteers with, and is supportive of, local organizations such as Child Advocates, United Way, Boys and Girls Country and Habitat for Humanity. Ryan attended Penn State University and executive education programs including Gallup Organization Strengths Training, University of Texas Organizational Leadership, and Columbia University Finance & Accounting Program. Reappointed by Gov. Abbott 3-2-17.
