Personal Information

Nick Raymond is the director of Government Relations. He began his tenure at TABC in January 2019. Raymond manages all communications between governmental entities and legislative offices, working closely with the executive director to establish strategic working groups and relationships with various organizations.

Before joining TABC, Raymond was chief of staff for a member of the Texas Legislature and managed political campaigns. With more than 10 years of experience in and around state and local government, he is well versed in both private and public organizations.

Raymond served in the US Navy as a Second Class Petty Officer, assigned to aviation logistics with operations around the world including Bahrain, India, Japan and Italy. He graduated from Texas State University with a degree in political science. He was recently appointed to the Texas State University Development Foundation Leadership Council, where he volunteers as an advisor to the Foundation Board of Trustees.
