Personal Information

Sanders retired from teaching in 2010, after 27 years. She owned South Athens Storage for 17 years and managed Sanders Investment Properties for 13 years. She has volunteered with the Henderson County Food Pantry and the Athens Thrift Store. She earned a Bachelor of Science in family and consumer economics from the University of North Texas. Sanders was appointed as director for Henderson County in 2021.
