Personal Information

Schiermeyer is an insurance agent with MassMutual and the managing partner of two farm partnerships. She is a member of the National Association of Life Underwriter, the Texas Association of Life Underwriters and the Lubbock Area of Life Underwriters. Schiermeyer serves on the board of the Life Gift Organ Donation Center, the Lubbock International Airport and the Lubbock Community Theatre. She is past chairman of the Southwest Institute for Addictive Diseases and served on the Brazos River Authority Board of Directors for 12 years. Schiermeyer received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University.
