Personal Information

Mazzant is an attorney with Wolfe, Tidwell and McCoy, LLP. He is past president of Texas Young Lawyers, Grayson County Bar and a founding member of the Grayson County Young Lawyers Association. Mazzant is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a founding member of the Paul Brown American Inn of Court and a former board member of the State Bar of Texas. He was named one of the Outstanding Young Men of America in 1996. He serves on the board of Keep Sherman Beautiful and is a member of the Denison Lion’s Club and the Sherman Kiwanis Club.

He is also creator of the Junior Judges Program, winner of the American Bar Association Endowment Award for best public service project of 2002. This program focuses on helping elementary school children make smart choices and was implemented across the nation. Mazzant graduated magna cum laude from University of Pittsburgh and received a law degree from Baylor University where he was named Young Lawyer of the Year for 2002.
