Roseberry graduated from Avery High School and attended Texarkana Community College and Texas A&M University-Commerce. He holds a Master’s Certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education. He is a graduate of the Law Enforcement Management Institute and the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

After serving as a Specialist Fifth Class in the United States Army that included a two-year tour in Vietnam, Roseberry began his career with the Greenville Police Department as a patrolman. He has held positions as Corporal, Sergeant, and Detective Sergeant. In October 1992, he was appointed to Assistant Chief. He served in that position until June 2004, when he was appointed Chief of Police.

Roseberry is a member of the Texas Municipal Police Association, Texas Police Association, Texas Narcotics Association, and Police Chiefs Association. He has served as a board member for the Hunt County Chamber of Commerce and the Hunt County Committee on Aging and is a graduate of Leadership Greenville. He was also a member of the Greenville Kiwanis Club where he served on the board of directors. Roseberry is the coordinator of the Greenville Citizens Police Academy and the Police Volunteers.

Roseberry resides in Greenville and his family includes daughter Theresa, son in law Terry, and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Sidney, and grandson Samuel. In his spare time he enjoys gardening and restoring classic cars.
