Leon J. Leach of Houston is executive vice president of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is board chairman of the B.H. Carroll Theological Institute and MD Anderson Services Corporation, chairman of the U.T. School of Public Health Fleming Center for Health Care Management Advisory Board, and a member and vice chairman of the Alliance of Dedicated Cancer Centers Executive Committee. He is also a board member and past chairman of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Health-Related Institutions Formula Advisory Committee, and a past board member and past vice chairman of The Chaplaincy Fund Inc. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Leach received a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University, a Master of Business Administration from Widener University, and a doctorate of management and policy studies from the U.T. School of Public Health. Reappointed 4/2013
