Diane Marie Novy of Sugar Land is an associate professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She also is on the faculty of The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is a member of the American, Texas and Houston Psychological Associations. Novy also is a member of the American Pain Society and the International Association for the Study of Pain. She serves on the board of directors of the alumni association of the University of Houston College of Education. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she received a master’s degree from Houston Baptist University and a doctoral degree from the University of Houston.
