Daisy White of Houston is the president of Daisy Sloan White, Inc., a consulting company, currently consulting for The Events Company of Houston. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International. White serves as a board member of the Texas A&M University Press and Bo’s Place, a grief support program. White also serves as a committee member of the American Heart Association. She is a past board member of Hermann Children's Hospital, the Houston Ballet and VICTORY, a branch of the American Cancer Society. White received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University. Reappointed 1-10-2010.
