Jacques DuBose

After successfully completing his Naval career Jacques DuBose moved back to his home state of Texas and became very involved in Boerne as a volunteer. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center, and the Cibolo Arts Council. Jacques also volunteers his time as an Ambassador for the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce. He work as a business consultant for Heartland Payment Systems.
Jacques was very involved in both the military and civilian communities throughout his military career. He served in leadership in varying positions for professional and civic organizations with a great deal of success. Jacques was a coordinator for an Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup section in Lake County, IL. He was elected to serve as Chairman for the Great Lakes Naval Training Center Youth and Parent Advisory Board. He was very involved with local schools as a volunteer substitute teacher and military volunteer coordinator. He started the Military Volunteers’ in the classroom for GreenBay School. Jacques served on the Native American Heritage Committee and helped organize two Native American Base-wide celebrations. He also volunteered with Meals-On-Wheels in Lake County, IL. While stationed in Great Lakes Jacques was very active in his local church and served as a Deacon, a member of the Worship Band, and the Chairman for Building Expansion Finance Committee.
Jacques obtained most of his formal education while serving on Active Duty in the US Navy. He achieved an AAS in Opticianry; an AA in Liberal Arts, a BS in Criminal Justice Administration; and he recently completed his MBA with a concentration in Public Administration.
Jacques is committed to the future of this community since he lives, works, and plays in Boerne.
