Personal Information

Mel Cleveland of Arlington is an optometrist and president of Vision Source Professional Eyecare. He is a member of the American and Texas Optometric associations and Tarrant County Optometric Society, and past director of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Medical Ministry. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army and lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Cleveland received a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Reappointed to the board 1-2013.
