Personal Information

Robert Thomas Roddy Jr. of San Antonio is president and CEO of Bensco Inc., board chairman of Lone Star Capital Bank, and is former director of the San Antonio branch of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank. He is director of the Louisiana Media Company, and a trustee of the Tom and Gayle Benson Charitable Foundation. He is past director of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas, San Antonio Chapter of the American Institute of Banking, San Antonio Area Foundation, San Antonio Food Bank, and Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. He is also past board chairman and past director of the San Antonio Business Committee for the Arts, past vice chairman of the United Way of San Antonio Financial Institution Section, past member of the University of the Incarnate Word Development Board, and past trustee of the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. Roddy served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He received a bachelor's degree from Texas State University and is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Southwest Graduate School of Banking.
