Personal Information

Mayor Coleman has been associated with Pflugerville since 2000 when he opened an independently owned insurance agency. He and his wife moved to Pflugerville in 2001 and live in the Falcon Pointe subdivision in northeast Pflugerville. They have three children Ramzy, Reaghen and Rylan. Coleman has a long history of serving his community through varied organizations and served as President of both Northwest Austin LMK and the Rotary Club of Pflugerville, and is an active member of the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce. In 1988, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Corpus Christi State University.

In July 2008, Mayor Coleman was honored to be named the “Elected Official of the Year” by the Central Texas Section of the American Planning Association. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) and is a Board Member of Envision Central Texas.


Mayor Coleman’s focus while serving as Mayor is to encourage economic development while maintaining Pflugerville’s small town atmosphere. His goal is to promote Pflugerville as a growing city with unlimited potential. He understands the crossroads Pflugerville is currently facing and is excited about the future.
