Personal Information

John Field Scovell of Dallas is president and CEO of Woodbine Development Corporation. He is a member of the Texas Tech University Foundation President's Council and Texas Tech Alumni Association National Board of Directors. He is also past president of the Dallas Red Raiders Club and a recipient of the Texas Tech University Distinguished Alumnus Award. Scovell is chairman-elect of the Dallas Citizens Council, and a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, Dallas Assembly and Dallas Citizens Council. He volunteers as a trustee of the Children's Medical Center Dallas and Southwestern Medical Foundation. Scovell formerly served in the U.S. Army Finance Corps, and received a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and a master's degree from Harvard Business School.
