Personal Information

Melissa Wilson of Corpus Christi is the medical director of the Morris L. Lichtenstein Jr. Medical Research Foundation. Her medical practice focuses on research and treatment of diabetes, and diabetes education. She is past medical director for diabetes education at the Coastal Bend Health Education Center-Texas A&M Health Science Center, and past director of the Doctors Regional Medical Center- Corpus Christi Medical Center Outpatient Diabetes Program. Wilson received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
