Personal Information

Castle has served as Gov. Perry’s press secretary since September 2008. She has more than 11 years’ communications experience in both the public and private sectors, previously serving as deputy press secretary for Gov. Perry. Castle has also served as a senior associate at ROSS Communications, a public affairs firm. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
