Carol Foxhall Peterson of Alpine is general manager of the Gage Hotel in Marathon. She is a former divisional vice president of Neiman Marcus and former owner of Foxhall and Co. She is a board member of Humanities Texas and Brewster County Tourism. She is also a CASA volunteer. Peterson received a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and a culinary arts degree from the French Culinary Institute in New York.
