Corbett “Chase” Bearden of Austin is a professional advocate and grassroots organizer for the Coalition of Texans with Disabilities. He is a guest lecturer in the Texas State University Therapeutic Recreation Department, and a past member of the Rehabilitation Council of Texas. He is also a volunteer as a coach for local nurses and therapists on providing treatment, teaching life skills and working with patients who suffer spinal cord injuries. Bearden received a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University.
