Personal Information

McKnight is a rancher and director of Olney Bancshares of Texas. He is a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and chairman of the USDA Advisory Committee on Beginning Farmers and Ranchers. He is also director of the Texas Forts Trail board, and chairman of the Texas Student Leadership Forum, Throckmorton County Historical Commission and City of Throckmorton Beautification Committee. McKnight received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and master’s degree in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
