Personal Information

Felecia Evans-Smith is serving her second term on City Council, having been sworn in in May 2009. She and her son Dylan Smith have been residents of Stafford since 2001. In addition to her position as Council member, she serves as Board Member of the Stafford Youth Basketball Association, member of the Arcott Homeowners Association and former member of Stafford Municipal School District Facility Advisory Committee. She is a member of Brentwood Baptist Church where she serves as Secretary of the Childrenīs Work Ministry and member of the Usher Board. She also is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Council member Evans-Smith adds to her credentials a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in Urban Planning from Alabama A&M University. She is Public Relations and Communications Manager for Fort Bend County, Commissioner Precinct 2, and CEO of a local consulting business.
