Personal Information

Gonzalez is an attorney in private practice and is co-founder of Defend One Security Company. He is also a former Assistant District Attorney for Tarrant County. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, and Tarrant County Bar Association. Gonzalez is an advisory board member of the Tarrant County Criminal Justice Task Force, a member of the board of directors for the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a member the U.S. Air Force Association and a former member of St. Andrew’s Catholic School Advisory Committee. He served in the U.S. Air Force and received a U.S. Meritorious Service medal and two Joint Service Commendation medals for his service. Gonzalez received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and a law degree from Creighton University.
