Lysia H. Bowling has dedicated her career to serving the public in state and local governmental arenas for over two decades (currently serves as City Attorney for City of San Angelo, Texas.). Ms, Bowling has a double bachelor’s degress in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Yale University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law and is licensed to practice in the states of Texas and Florida.

Ms. Bowling is a former Assistant State Attorney for the Miami Dade Office of the State Attorney, 11th Judicial District and Police Legal Advisor for the Miami Police Department, certified law enforcement instructor by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, City Attorney for the City of Harlingen, Texas, Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Office of the Attorney General, Police Legal Advisor for the City of Temple, Texas, Chief Prosecutor for the City of Austin Municipal Court, staff attorney for the Texas General Land Office and served with the Texas State Comptroller Accounts.
