Personal Information

Sandie Mullins of Houston is a former Houston Community College Trustee for District VI. She is a board member of the West Houston Leadership Institute and former member of the West Houston Hospital and West Houston Region P-16 Education Council. Mullins co-founded and served as president for Super Neighborhood 17, co-chaired the Business and Education Committee for Houston West Chamber of Commerce and served as a member of the Economic Development, West Houston Public Safety, Governmental Affairs and Teacher of the Year Committees. She also volunteers for the March of Dimes, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Texas Children’s Hospitals, The Collaborative for Children and Grace Presbyterian Church. Mullins received a Bachelor of Science in education from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration in marketing from St. Mary’s University.
